Dr. Jennifer Walden has a life marked by achievement and success in medicine, specifically plastic surgery. Through her dedication and hard work she has achieved more at her young age than many people will their entire lives. Her achievements aren’t ordinary, they are achievements of somebody who is driven to high success and wants to make a difference in their profession.
Dr. Jennifer Walden began her streak of success with her degree in biology from the University of Texas, Austin, where she graduated with honors and was on the Dean’s List. She received her degree in Biology and received grades high enough to get her accepted to medical school. During this time, she also received other awards:

- University of Texas Scholar Student
- Golden Key National Honor Society
University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston
She was accepted to medical school and through astute scholarship and hard work she graduated as the Salutatorian of her class. She chose to do her residency in plastic surgery and was accepted to Integrated Plastic Surgery Residency at the Texas Medical Branch at Galveston.
The Move to New York
After completing her residency program, Dr. Walden won a fellowship to the prestigious Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat hospital. She studied there for a year before returning to her home state of Texas.
Since her career began she has won numerous professional awards including:
- The Mavis P. Kelsey Excellence in Medicine Award
- Herman Barnett Memorial Award
- Presented at American Society for Aesthetic Surgery Annual Mtg 2004
- Best Scientific Exhibit Award by a Resident or Candidate
No Secret, No Magic
There is no secret to why Dr. Walden has succeeded at so much and won so many awards. She was raised in a family that valued success and scholarship, and she worked very hard for everything she won.
